It has been a long strange float for me over the last 26 years . from tying fly's for A.K.Best for 3 years to raising hackle for Whiting farms and corksmith for SCOTT rods . yes I made straws i am ashamed to admit.
A couple of years at one of the finest art foundries in the country ( Lands End Sculpture Center, Paonia Co.where I learned techniques from some of the top wildlife artist in the world like Ken Bunn, Forest Hart, Gerald Balciar etc.) making bronze statues.
I have guided the Black canyon of the Gunnison off and on for the last 18 years, And now I make Custom Bamboo rods and I specialise in Making Mortised rods.
With a very strong emphasis on exploring the fly rod and its case or cases as a work of useable art.

This is not framed or matted (Signed on the back) Asking $500.00 This was 1 of 2 given to me by Ernie in Livingstone Mt. at the last FFF conclave he attended before he passed away. This proof was 1 of 10 or 12 that he had and was given to me by Ernie after he cast and ordered one of my rods. That windy sunday afternoon in 2005.
